Mr. Shiverick has over 20 years experience in senior care services. He is an experienced, senior-level executive with an extensive background in designing, developing and implementing operational systems for senior care organizations that align strategic initiatives with proven results. He has extensive experience in developing quality management systems and performance measures for national and regional organizations.

Mr. Shiverick’s key areas of expertise include:

Mr. Shiverick began his career in senior care services with the New York Quality Assurance Project (NYQAS), a data-driven approach to long term care quality and reimbursement for nursing homes. In 1991, he joined the National Nursing Home Case Mix and Quality Demonstration, which pioneered prospective payment for Medicare and Medicaid services in nursing facilities as well as developed the Quality Measures used nationwide today.

In four years with the American Health Care Association beginning in 1994, he participated in policy analysis and developed a first-of-its-kind software application for data-driven quality measurement in nursing homes. For eight years (1999 to 2007) he was the Vice President for Quality for Harborside Healthcare, a Boston-based provider organization which oversaw the operations for 76 nursing facilities. Most recently, he was the Chief Quality Officer of My InnerView, the nation's premier provider of customer focused quality management systems for senior care providers.  

Mr. Shiverick serves as a member of several boards and committees including:
• The Board of Overseers of the AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award,
• The Board of Examiners of the AHCA/NCAL National Quality Award,
• The Quality Committee of the American Health Care Association.
